Adding Drama to Interiors

An image is worth a thousand words, but it can be speechless when placed in the right setting. I would like to zoom in on Eaton Fine Art, a Texas based firm that specializes in creative project placement for hospitality and other commercial work. They invite artist submissions on their website: http://www.eatonfineart.com/artistSubmission.html. Their expertise is displayed  in the interiors of many hotels throughout the country, including the W South Beach in Miami, the Bellagio and Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas as well as the Four Seasons in Philadelphia and Las Colinas, to name a few. Their project list is impressive as well as the images I selected below.

A split love seat and a stiletto dripping chocolate sauce.

The image of the bare feet is so dramatic you can almost feel the texture.

Legs that make a statement.

A Unique Window Closet

Designed by Alfonsina Romero

An over-sized dresser was created for a client who desired a standard built in closet in the master bedroom. There was an empty space on the window wall and I encouraged her to envision an oversized window bench that can hold everything she needs, from hanging, to folded clothes and accessories in her dresser. LED lights were included included on both ends with translucent laminated  glass for the closet doors for the Maple wood window closet unit.

Consider Cedar

A client of mine requested her closets to be built using cedar wood. Cedar is not readily available everywhere, so I was generally unfamiliar with the material. While researching its characteristics and benefits, I fell in love.

Love your closet now.
Getting Along With Your Not-So-Nice Small Closet.
By Alfonsina Romero

Most of us are victims of overly dysfunctional closets, particularly if you are a city dweller and your apartment is, well, small. Not only are the closets typically undersized, but they are also claustrophobic, awkwardly shaped, dark, and scary. The good news is you are not alone, and after applying a few of the tips below, you and your small closet will have smooth sailing without the need for further therapy. The first step is acceptance.
