Urban Farms at the Greenbuild Event with Metropolis Magazine

Urban Farms are a thing of now and Brooklyn Grange taught us just that during a presentation at the Metropolis magazine  Green Build event at the Davis Warshow showroom in Soho on December 11.

Designers, architects and industry members were invited to this very informative event followed by a reception. There were two presenters who shared insight on their ecologically conscious projects.

Urban farms was one of the topics and Brooklyn Grange offered a preview of how they work: creating farms on rooftops, helping other start their own, while selling the produce that is grown locally as well as hosting events at these farms. The urban farm concept utilizes rooftops to bring the farm to the city.
