Steve Ellis Art Reception at Conde Nast

The Durst Organization and Chashama held a memorable art reception for Steve Ellis in the lobby of the Conde Nast building in 4 Times Square. His paintings portray vibrant pop culture iconography  with meaningful graphics that are very NYC relevant. "His intricate details urge viewers to be ever aware of their vivid surroundings". The work was curated by Janusz Jaworski and the paintings can be seen from Monday- Friday until March 17, 2014.

1stdibs Designer Preview at The Winter Antiques Show


The 60th annual Winter Antiques Show took place at the Park Avenue Armory.  Featuring the “best of the best” from antiquities through the 1960s, the Show provides curators, collectors, designers and first-time buyers with opportunities to view and purchase exceptional pieces showcased by 73 exhibitors. One-third of the Show's exhibitors are specialists in Americana, with the rest featuring English, European, and Asian fine and decorative arts.

Novotel Guestrooms Tour

The hospitality industry network NEWH hosted their monthly member meeting  for December at Novotel New York Times Square, designed by StoneHill & Taylor Architects. Stonehill & Taylor's Wally Aubuchon gave event guests a tour of 2 guest suites, while explaining the New Year's Eve concept that inspired the design of the hotel.  The guest rooms at Novotel are simple and beautifully designed rooms with functional furniture and chic modern appeal.
